Clubs want stadium meet with Baird

Allianz Stadium tenants Sydney Roosters, NSW Waratahs and Sydney FC have called for an urgent summit with NSW premier Mike Baird to sort out Sydney’s stadia mess.

The three clubs were blindsided by Baird’s announcement on Monday that Allianz Stadium would be rebuilt on its current site, leaving them without a home for four years.

Speaking on behalf of the three clubs on Tuesday, Roosters chief executive John Lee said they want to meet with Baird in the coming days to nut out an suitable agreement.
