Canterbury captain Michael Ennis has officially been ruled out of Sunday’s NRL grand final against South Sydney due to a foot injury.
The Bulldogs released a statement on Saturday confirming Ennis was out due to the injury suffered in Canterbury’s 18-12 preliminary final win over Penrith.
Scans earlier in the week revealed two fractures in Ennis’s foot.
Bulldogs coach Des Hasler is yet to make a decision on Ennis’s replacement, while James Graham and Trent Hodkinson have been announced as co-captains for the match.
