Bulldogs delay NRL trial due to heat

Canterbury have pushed back Saturday’s NRL trial with Penrith by an hour to 7pm due to Sydney’s predicted weekend heatwave.

The game at Belmore Sportsground will go ahead despite temperatures above 40 degrees predicted to hit Sydney’s west on Saturday.

South Sydney and Manly’s trial is set to be played at around 7.30pm, with the mercury in Campbelltown possibly reaching 45 degrees during the day.
