Wests Tigers players say halfback Luke Brooks’ signing will help further stabilise the NRL club following the arrival of coach Ivan Cleary.

Reports emerged on Wednesday that Brooks had signed until the end of 2019, becoming the first of the Tigers’ so-called ‘big four’ to put pen to paper.

“As soon as they finalise what they are going to do it would be best for the team so we can look forward and play some good footy,” centre Chris Lawrence said.
