Brisbane centre Jack Reed’s shoulder injury has forced the England international to quit rugby league.

Reed, 28, injured his shoulder earlier this NRL season but despite surgery has been unable to recover and will confirm his retirement at Broncos HQ on Wednesday morning.

Reed played 128 first grade matches for the Broncos as well as four Tests for England.
