The Brisbane Broncos will be out for redemption when they host the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night. Brisbane remains in the top-eight mix but suffered a frustrating 22-20 loss to Parramatta last week, with a late try disallowed due to a contentious offside call against Reece Walsh. The result saw the Broncos slip to sixth and put a dent in their top-four ambitions.

South Sydney’s woes continue, falling to the Sharks 14-12 in another narrow defeat that leaves them anchored to the bottom of the ladder.
