Garth Brennan has been unveiled as Gold Coast’s new NRL coach to replace Neil Henry.
The ex-Penrith NSW Cup coach is highly regarded in rugby league circles and is credited with bringing through the Panthers current batch of young stars.
Brennan has beaten Brisbane assistant Jason Demetriou for the role after he met with the club on Monday, while sacked South Sydney coach Michael Maguire was also a contender.
