An emotional Scott Bolton has broken his silence, two days after being charged by police with an alleged indecent assault.
The tearful North Queensland NRL prop told reporters in Townsville he understands people want him to talk about the allegation but is unable to because the matter involves the police and the NRL integrity unit.
Bolton was charged following a complaint by a female patron at a Bondi bar on Saturday night with the Cowboys yet to reveal if he will play against the Wests Tigers on Thursday night at Leichhardt Oval.
