Wests Tigers welcome back their lucky charm Keith Galloway for Monday’s NRL clash with Parramatta and the big prop can’t wait to help his struggling teammates out.

The Tigers are 0-6 this season without Galloway who returns after spending the past two weeks on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.

In that time Big Keith watched his side go down to North Queensland before they were hammered 32-6 by South Sydney and it was that performance against the Rabbitohs which has Galloway fired up for the Campbelltown match with the Eels.

“It was pretty disappointing watching it and being on the sideline not being able to help,” Galloway said.

“We’ve got to try and get things in place and get a win and try and get a roll on. The middle of the year we won seven in a row, so we know we can play good football, it’s just a matter of doing it.”

The Tigers sit just outside the eight and with five games remaining, a win over the Eels is vital.

Last placed Parramatta have responded to the axing of coach Stephen Kearney with victories over Melbourne and Brisbane.

The Eels’ 42-22 win over the Broncos was particularly impressive and Galloway is expecting a tough clash, noting the Tigers will have a difficult job stopping halfback Chris Sandow.

“They looked really impressive and it’s going to be a hard match,” Galloway said.

“We played them earlier in the year and we were beating them convincingly and then they scored 30 unanswered points. We know what they are capable of.

“Sandow is a confidence player and he’s certainly got some confidence at the moment. We’re going to have to watch him.”

The Tigers will be keen to win for popular centre three-quarter Beau Ryan who celebrates his 100th NRL game for the club.

Ryan has done an outstanding job for coach Tim Sheens this season playing a host of backline positions due to injuries.

Sheens has named back-rower Liam Fulton at five-eighth in what’s becoming a problem position for the Tigers after recently losing Curtis Sironen for the season.

“He’s (Fulton) a ball playing forward, so I think he can do the job for us,” Galloway said.
