Manly forward Nate Myles wants the NRL to treat on-field slaps in the same way they do punches, with players being sent to the sin bin.

Myles was on the wrong end of Paul Gallen’s 2013 State of Origin punch, which led to the act becoming an automatic sin-bin offence, and now he wants the same action taken on those who slap opposition players.

“If you walk down the street and punch someone and slap someone, it’s the same sort of judgement,” he said.
