It’s a miserable time to be a football fan in New York right now.

The Tommy DeVito era has been a bit of fun, but after suffering another beatdown at the hands of the Cowboys last week, the feeling has been very down at the Meadowlands this year.

At 4-6, it hasn’t been quite as bad at Washington, but after blowing a game they should have won last week in the final minute to Seattle, Commander fans haven’t had much to cheer about either.

Despite the loss, Sam Howell did some nice things late in the game, complimented by another handy day from Brian Robinson.

I can’t have them at –9.5, but if those two combine again, Washington should at least pick up the W.
