Emotions will be running high in Foxborough in this game and the hope is we will be in for a game to match the spectacle.

After all Bill Belichick knows how to get after Tom Brady having coached him for 20 years.

He’s seen Brady shred some defences without breaking a sweat and struggle mightily against others.

Perhaps he will come up with some innovative gameplan or strategic twist that forces Brady off his game, possibly hoping that his return to New England makes him overly emotional.

Unfortunately for Belichick, he just doesn’t have the talent at his disposal to get close to Tampa.

Through three weeks, New England has been one of the most disappointing teams in the league and were absolutely atrocious against New Orleans last week.

Maybe Belichick will opt to sit back and dare Brady to run, but New England’s run defence has provided as much resistance to opponents as a light breeze does to a semi-trailer.

Should Brady decide to throw (and you know he wants to), there are just too many options for him to target all over the field.

Belichick might be able to shut down one of them, but the other four receivers on any play can cause havoc.

With the excerpts of Seth Wickersham’s latest book coming out this week and by some accounts not being all that favourable towards Brady, it will only serve as more motivation for him come into New England and remind his former coach and owner what they were happy to let go.
