When the schedule was released, this was a “clear your calendar and commit all three hours to this one” game but now all you can say is “what else is on?”
Few would have expected the combined record of the last two Super Bowl winners to be 6-9 heading into this game, especially when one of those teams is lead by Tom Brady.
However both have looked incredibly disjointed and at least we can take solace in the fact someone has to find a way to win this game.
That and the fact both teams are still more than capable of flicking the switch and going on a run in the second half of the season, but they’ll need to get themselves on the right track now.
While not serious enough to rule him out of this game (at the time of publish), the injury suffered by Cooper Kupp last week appears to be significant enough to limit him here and that is enough to swing my tip to Tampa Bay.
After all, they still have Tom Brady whose play has been way down the list of the Buc’s problems.
