By the time we get to the end of the first quarter, we will know if there is anything remotely redeeming about either of these teams.
Aaron Rodgers will make his debut in Pittsburgh against the team that was more than happy to dump him during the offseason after two rough years.
He looked done playing for the Jets last year and if he is still scared of getting hit, it is only a matter of time before the Steelers bench him.
Meanwhile the Jets have turned to first round bust Justin Fields and he is surely just a placeholder for 2025 before they can find an upgrade.
There really isnt much to like about these markets but if you have to back anything, take Fields to have a decent day running the ball, Aaron Glenn is likely to play into his strengths.
Fields ran for over 50 yards in three of six starts for the Steelers last season and Ill back him to do the same on his Jets debut.
