In 2012, Washington went to New Orleans in Week 1 to debut their brand new rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III.

That introduction to the NFL could not have gone much better for RG3, throwing for 320 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 42 more yards on the ground as the visitors won 40-32.

All of this is just a roundabout way of getting to the point for this game, which is that the Commanders’ new rookie phenom Jayden Daniels might be in for a similar day against the Saints.

Coming off their bye, the rookie and his teammates got the chance to freshen up before resuming their playoff push while the 5-8 Saints are now just playing out the string.

Especially with Derek Carr likely to miss the game with a concussion and/or injury to his non-throwing hand.
