However its not all doom and gloom, with quarterback Michael Penix and receiver Drake London potentially returning from injury for this game.
They will need all hands on deck to take on the resurgent Patriots who have won five in a row and will be looking to maintain their lead in the AFC East.
New England should be able to handle their business in this game and Im happy to back them in large part because its hard to see how the Falcons can pull themselves out of their slump quickly enough to spring the upset.
