Largely through the direct actions of the Miami Dolphins and their training staff, Miami will be going into this game without either of their two starting calibre quarterbacks with Tua Tagovailoa and Teddy Bridgewater both recovering from concussions.

That leaves late round rookie Skylar Thompson as the man to face the music at home against the Vikings.

Admittedly in a tough spot, there wasn’t a lot to like from his performance when called upon in last week’s 23 point loss in New Jersey.

Mike McDaniel’s system is largely quarterback proof but the system can only do so much and Minnesota just has too much at their disposal to ask the rookie to keep up with.

Vikings by 14+ is tempting but it’s still Kirk Cousins who can make back breaking mistakes with the best of them so I’ll settle for the line instead.
