After a horrible 38-3 loss to the Saints – the worst of Tom Brady’s career – Tampa Bay responded with a 46-23 dismantling of the Panthers, with the G.O.A.T. (341 yds, 3 TDs, 0 INT) in vintage touch and Ronald Jones rushing for 192 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.
The Rams came out of the bye with a highly encouraging 23-16 victory over the Seahawks. Their defence rattled Russell Wilson into three turnovers and they’ll be looking to do a similar job on Brady.
The Bucs ended a five-match losing streak against the Rams last season with a 55-40 shootout victory. Jameis Winston threw for four TDs for Tampa, while Jared Goff tossed three picks for the Rams.
The Rams are 2-3 on the road this season, losing their last two. The Bucs are 3-1 at home – an advantage that should prove decisive in a key game for both teams.
