The monkey is off the back for Matthew Stafford, who claimed the first playoff victory of his career as the Los Angeles Rams cruised past the Cardinals to set up a showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a spot in the NFC Championship Game.

It was a dominant display on both sides of the ball by the Rams, who bounced back from their capitulation in Week 18 to run away with a comprehensive 34-11 victory.

Stafford was only required to throw the ball 17 times, with two finding the end zone while he added a touchdown with his legs.

Tampa Bay similarly dominated its matchup against the Eagles, piling on a 31-0 lead before putting the cue in the rack during the final quarter.

Missing their top two running backs didn’t seem to bother the Bucs, who still rushed for over 100 yards, while Tom Brady extended his career postseason record for touchdown passes to 85.
