No. 2 overall pick and Michigan native Aidan Hutchinson will instantly improve the Lions’ defence, but questions remain over the offence after a less-than-inspiring first season in new colours from quarterback Jared Goff. On the other hand, Jalen Hurts enjoyed a breakout season as the Eagles’ quarterback and now has a marquee receiver by his side in Pro-Bowler A.J. Brown. The presence of Brown coupled with the addition of first-round selection Jordan Davis at defensive tackle has Philadelphia primed to challenge for the division title.
