Playoffs are beyond these two AFC West cellar dwellers, but to borrow a line from Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett, “somebody has to win this one”.

Denver’s highly dysfunctional season rolled on with their high priced quarterback putting up 10 points in Tennessee last week, the seventh time they have been held under 20 points.

Their season high total of 23 came in Las Vegas in Week 4, however that was paired with their defence’s worst game of the year giving up 32 in a loss.

Vegas’ season hit a new low last week as they were unable to stop the Colts and wasted a great game from Davante Adams.

There is also an added layer of intrigue to this game with Josh McDaniels returning to the team he made his head coaching debut with where he lasted a season and a half before being run out of town.

There has not been a lot to like from either side this year but the Raiders have shown a little bit more explosiveness and seem like the more likely team to get to 20 points.
