Star quarterback Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos have been installed as $6.50 favourites by online bookmaker sportsbet to win Super Bowl XLVIII with the NFL season getting underway from this Friday.

Last season’s runners-up San Francisco are on the second line of betting at $8.00 and are followed by the Seattle Seahawks ($9.00), who have Aussie Jesse ‘The Monster’ Williams on their roster but who’s set to miss the entire season through injury, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots ($10), Green Bay Packers ($11) and Houston Texans ($13).
Last year’s Super Bowl champs Baltimore have been opened at $19. The Broncos and 49ers have been opened at $3.10 and $4.33 to respectively win the AFC and NFC Championships.
