The Cowboys are 4-7, the Giants are 2-9, both teams are without their Week 1 starting quarterback for different reasons and this is not a game to get overly excited about.

Let’s start with the Giants dysfunction where they released Daniel Jones during the bye week, elevated third choice Tommy DeVito to the starting role and they managed a grand total of seven points last week.

Now DeVito is injured and they might have to turn to Drew Lock who was not happy about being supplanted by the second year guy in the first place.

As for the Cowboys, well they are coming off a wild win in Washington, but they needed two kickoff returns for touchdowns and a plethora of mistakes from the Commanders to get over the line.

Cooper Rush is also under an injury cloud for this game, which could bring Trey Lance into the game, either way it’s not a good sign for the Cowboys offence.

Given the form of both teams, it is tough to take a side in the head to head or line market with any confidence, and calling this game a total stay away would be completely understandable.

But in the interests of finding something to bet on, Giants rookie back Tyrone Tracey has scored three touchdowns in his last six games, which is as close to a reliable option in that market as you can find.
