Rossi back for MotoGP race after leg break

Motorcycling great Valentino Rossi has ridden eight laps in Friday’s first practice session for Sunday’s Aragon MotoGP.

It comes just 22 days after he broke his leg.

Rossi appeared to have few problems as he negotiated a wet track and finished 18th fastest.

World championship leader and defending champion Marc Marquez of Spain was quickest.

Nine-times world champion Rossi, 38, fractured his tibia and fibula in a motocross accident on August 31.
