Australia’s two-time Dakar champion Toby Price has been forced to exit this year’s race after crashing his bike in Tuesday’s stage.
Price was airlifted to hospital after injuring his left arm and shoulder.
The Gold Coast motorcycle ace was only a minute behind Nacho Cornejo in the general standings when he crashed at the 155km mark.
