Defending series champion Scott McLaughlin has continued his dominance by making a clean sweep of the Supercars opening round in Adelaide.

Backing up from Saturday’s win in his new Mustang, McLaughlin claimed race two by more than two seconds ahead of fellow Ford driver Cameron Waters with Holden star Shane van Gisbergen third.

It marked a dream return for Mustang which replaced Falcons in all six Ford cars this season after last being sighted in 1990.
