Massa on pole for Austrian GP

Felipe Massa in a Williams has pole position for Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix.

The Brazilian grabbed his first pole position of the season and the 16th of his career in a time of 1 minute 08.759 seconds on Saturday.

His Williams teammate, Valtteri Bottas of Finland, will begin alongside him on the first line of the starting grid, edging out the two Mercedes cars of championship leader Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

Last race winner Daniel Ricciardo qualified fifth fastest followed by the McLaren of Kevin Magnussen.

Ricciardo’s Red Bull teammate, four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, struggled to 13th place.
