Trainer Annabel Neasham has withdrawn Zaaki from the George Main Stakes at Randwick, confirming her stable star will run in Melbourne.
Neasham confirmed the scratching in a tweet stating that Zaaki would instead wait a week to run in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes at Sandown in a weeks time.
“Zaaki will wait a week and line up in the G1 Underwood at Sandown with the team feeling he will benefit from an extra week after a heavy track first up.” Neasham tweeted.
“We have made the call today to ensure he can gallop in the morning in preparation for next weekend.”
Zaaki was on the second line of betting at $3.10 in the market for the George Main Stakes.
