Yankee Rose is the lone filly among the 11 acceptors for the Group One Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick.
Lightweight Victorian jockey Dean Yendall has been booked to ride Yankee Rose with a view to taking the mount in the Cox Plate if the three-year-old heads to the weight-for-age championship.
She is the $2.60 favourite for Saturday’s Spring Champion (2000m) ahead of Prized Icon at $3.50.
