Unbeaten Written By is poised to unseat Sunlight from top spot in Golden Slipper betting.
Both horses fared well in today’s barrier draw, but punters have made a strong move for Written By with Sportsbet. Punters quickly claimed the online bookmaker with swag of wagers on the colt and he is edging towards favouritism.
Written By has firmed from $5.50 into $4.60 and Magic Millions winner Sunlight has eased from her quote of $3.50 out to $4.20. Three other runners are under double figures, Performer ($8.50), Santos ($8.50) and Seabrook ($9.00), but the support is thin so far.
“Sunlight and Written By have dominated betting in recent weeks and the trend is continuing. However, punters have really come for Written By.
