Big Danger: Resistant hit the line really well last start in the race won by Lady Lakshmi and with a bit more race experience could be winning a race like this.
Roughie:Street Battle wore down the leader lasts start in easier company to win narrowly. By Street Cry so the extra distance will suit and the track at Flemington will suit. Looks a good each way chance.

Race Two: Rivette Series Final 1600m Form Guide
Back Me: Ava’s Delight will have to carry the top weight although she is simply a class above this field. Unless something goes drastically wrong she will be winning on Saturday.
Don’t Back Me: Danestroem will likely start second or third favourite although the jump up in class will be too much for here especially the favourite.
Big Danger: Perfect Offering races well at Flemington and two starts ago was beaten far by Ava’s Delight in a similar race and she has a better pull in the weights here.
Roughie: Mayan Prophecy was scratched from mid week company to run in this race which shows connections are confident she can run well. Apart from the favourite it looks wide open and she has good each way claims.

Race Three: National Patient Transport-89 1800m Form Guide
Back Me: Midnight Glory has a good record at the track and distance and with the claim of Thomas Sadler gets into the race really well weighted. Should get a good run and be hard to beat at big odds.
Don’t Back Me: Upbeat has had three starts at the track without placing. Finds a pretty good field on Saturday and with the increase of 4kg from last run i think there is better value elsewhere.
Big Danger: Rock Princess was ridden upside down last start and with a better run on Saturday should finish much closer.
Roughie: Magic Me hit the line strongly in the last 100m last start. The extra distance should suit here and there looks to be more speed in the race which will also suit.

Race Four: Slickpix/tvn Silver Bowl Final 1600m Form Guide
Back Me: Edgewood bombed the start last time out and wasn’t beaten far on the line. If he can jump better on Saturday he has the class and weight advantage to win this race. Drops 2kg from that run which looks a good form race heading into Saturday.
Don’t Back Me: Space was ridden poorly last start but despite that he looked outclassed in city grade. Happy to leave him out on Saturday.
Big Danger: Quick Snitzel has won at his third up run which he is having on Saturday. He likes the distance and has placed at Flemington before, plus he gets a slight weight advantage from the classier horses in the race.
Roughie: Tooleybuc Kid gets into this race really well rated. Lightly raced galloper who should have plenty of improvement in him and should be up to city class.

Back Me: Perturbo did nothing last start but should be better suited over the 1200m distance. Looks to be good speed in the race which will help and should be better suited in this race. Should go very close at good odds.

Big Danger: Riziz has been racing very well of late including a seventh placed finish in a Group 1 at Morphettville two starts ago only beaten 2L. Looks the horse to beat and is weighted really well with 56.5kg.
Roughie: Belfast Boy will likely start at good odds for the race and looks very well suited with two wins from two starts over the course and distance. Can be backed each way and looks a very good bet.

Back Me: Another Prelate has been racing very well lately with his last three runs all producing second place finishes. Gets weighted well with just the increase of .5kg and from barrier 3 will get the run of the race and be too strong in the finish.
Don’t Back Me: Under The Hat has been very consistant lately although his record at the track isn’t very good with fifteen starts at Flemington for just the one win. Looking at that im happy to leave him out.
Big Danger: Hollowlea didn’t do anything in the heavy going last start but will get a dry track on Saturday. Two starts ago ran very well when running second and with the weight drop on Saturday should go close.
Roughie: Glaneuse hasn’t been racing at his best although his record at the track and distance is very good with two wins from two tries and must be included in your selections at big odds.

Back Me: Outback Joe went back last start in what was a slowly run race and hit the line strongly. Should get more speed in this race which will suit his running pattern and will be hitting the line strongly from the back.
Don’t Back Me: Turner Bayou has run well last two starts at midweek meetings at Sandown on heavy although i think he is better with the cut taken out of the ground which he wont get on Saturday and at the odds is a risk.
Big Danger: Cooldini has been faultless this preparation and it would be extremely hard to say he cant win again on Saturday although at the odds i think our on top selection is better value.
Roughie: Vatuvei did a lot wrong last start and still wasn’t beaten far. If he can settle in the run this weekend he should go much closer at big odds and he definitely has the class to win this.

Back Me: Bia Diamond didn’t have a lot go her way last start and i expect her to turn things around on Saturday. Two starts ago she flew home in a good form race at Swan Hill and with what looks to be good speed in this race will be hard to beat.
Don’t Back Me: Koe won at Flemington over the same course and distance last start but jumps up 6kg from that race and finds a pretty tough field here. Likely to jump favourite and i doubt she can win.
Big Danger: Lycra Lass has won her last two runs in Sydney and is well suited again here. Will be having her first start going the opposite way and if she handles it she will be very hard to beat again.
Roughie: Rustana did a lot wrong last start and didn’t have clear running but finished well in a slowly run race which will be a good form race. Will get back again and will go close at massive odds.
