The Randwick track expected to be good for a massive day of racing.

The wind is predicted from the south/south west up to 45km/h which is in the face of the horses down the back straight, across them down the side and behind the horses in the home straight.

Races greater than 1200m will likely be advantaged with some cover and the sprint races likely to be inside advantaged in this scenario.

Wind is certainly a factor to keep very much at mind during race day.

Race 6 – Warwick Stakes (1400m)

This extraordinary mare is looking for 18 straight and she’s rated second in the world to US horse Arrogate.

Her price implies she is unbeatable and an easy victory is expected.

I think the fair over/under on margin might be four lengths, so look out for the special market.

With regard to the arguments of her vs Arrogate, I’ll leave it to a wiser man than I to comment

Race 3 – Highway Handicap (1600m)

My Tagoson needs a little luck in his races given his pattern of getting back.

Hence his record of 10 starts of one win and five placings.

He was strong to the line last start behind Prada Miss over 1500m and with any luck can run over the top of this field.

Race 4 – Broccolini Handicap (1400m)

Ebenos is building nicely off his two solid efforts this preparation and likely to peak at this his 3rd up run.

I can see a new career peak on the offing and if so, he’ll be hard to beat in an open race.
