The daughter of Al Maher ran along in front that afternoon at Randwick and she gave a really good kick in the straight, but couldn’t quite hold out the finish of Bezel, who goes around as a leading contender in the Carbine Club. Alliterate opened at $15 before punters stepped in backing her into $9.00, and the support should be respected.

Favourite for the race is Tiamo Grace at $3.80 and has been slightly easy. Sebring Dream ($4.40-$5.00) has been an early drifter while Pretty Punk ($5.50-$5) has been met with some support.
