The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Gypsy Diamond is a last start Stakes winner, so it’s no surprise that she has been supported with Sportsbet.com.au to win the Wagga Wagga Gold Cup (2000m) this Friday.
The Group l performed mare bounced back to winning form by winning the JRA Plate (2000m) at Randwick, and with that form stacking up well, she opened $2.60, got out to as much as $3, but is now being supported, into $2.80.
The other well supported runner is Koukram, who finished behind Gypsy Diamond at Randwick. he has been $6 to $7 to $5, and now is currently at $5.50.
The Chris Waller trained Our Voodoo Prince has been solid at $6, while the stablemate Trade Commissioner, who won this race last year, has been $10 into $7.
