Cranbourne colt Polanski has been heavily backed to win the Victoria Derby at Flemington tomorrow.
The bargain buy, who cost just $4000 as a yearling, is $6.00 and the best backed runner with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au. Favourite Savvy Nature has eased from $4.60 to $4.80 and Complacent has also blown out to $5.50.
“There’s been a massive go for Polanski and by all indications it could be a three-way battle for favouritism. While Savvy Nature and Complacent are the star runners, they have wide barriers to contend with and Polanski should get the gun run,’’ sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
