Tyzone has gone one placing better than in 2019 to win the Group One Stradbroke Handicap at Eagle Farm.
Making a late charge, Tyzone snatched Queensland’s most prestigious race away from Sydney mare Madam Rouge in the last stride with Niccanova finishing third.
Tyzone was ridden by South African jockey Robbie Fradd and the sprinter gave father-and-son co-trainers Toby and Trent Edmonds their first Group One victory.
