Two disqualified over Lil Caesar HK sale

Media personality Richard Callander has been disqualified for six months and fined $10,000 over the sale of a horse to Hong Kong.

Liam Prior, racing manager for leading trainer Chris Waller, has also been outed for six months for his part in the $200,000 sale of Lil Caesar, whose owners were told fetched $140,000 – with the pair keeping the remainder.

Jockey Glyn Schofield has been fined $20,000 for facilitating the sale via his Hong Kong contacts against the rules of his riding licence.
