Racing will return to Moonee Valley on Saturday which we see an eight race card headlined by the Travis Harrison Cup which looks to be a decent race for this time of the year. Like always we look for some value in each of the races and again we think we have found plenty of good priced winning chances.

Race One (12:35) : Aquanas Foods Hcp 1200m

Back Me: Gloop i thought was very good on debut over the 900m where he got back in the run and hit the line really well late. The increase in distance will definitely improve his chances and he drops in weight from that run. He has drawn the inside barrier and should get a midfield position in running and be strong late at a good price.
Big Danger: Symphonix has won twice from three career starts and meets a field that doesn’t have many winners in it. He will likely go to the front and dictate the race which always suits the Moonee Valley track and he looks very hard to beat in the race.
Roughie: All Day Baby was sent out right in the market on debut before being a tad disappoiting. she was then taken to a tougher race and ran okay. This field looks on par to her last start run and i think she will improve from that and being from the Hawkes stable she has to be included at the double figure quote.

Race Two (13:10) : Alternate Railway (bm90) 1000m

Back Me: Bloomingdale Miss has been a tad disappointing at her last two starts but she wasn’t bad on either occasion. Her first up record is very good having placed on all three occasions when racing fresh and she has a win from one start at the track and distance. The barrier shouldn’t be an issue as she will go back and hook wide around the turn and she looks the horse the front runners will need to hold out.
Big Danger: Flash Of Doubt came through some very good races last preparation and this looks to be easier. She has a very good first up record having won once and ran second once from three tries and she should get a good run from barrier 6 allowing her to go back and with the good speed in the race attack the line hard late.
Roughie: Johannapine was disappointing last start but i am happy to forgive her for that run. Before that she went close at the track and distance in what was a good race where she was supported in betting. She will need some luck from the barrier but i expect her to be right in the finish at a double figure price.

Race Three (13:45) : Essendon Nissan Hcp 1200m

Back Me: Brotherly Secret was disappointing at Mornington last start but i am happy to forgive that run as it was his first on a rain affected track. He has had one start at Moonee Valley for one win which is always a good factor to look at when racing at the Valley. He has drawn barrier 5 which will give him the perfect run and he drops 5kg from his last run which should see him go very close at a very good price.
Big Danger: Kraftwerk was good at Flemington last start despite being well beaten by Il Cavallo. He drops 3kg from that run and draws a good barrier to get a perfect cart into the race. He will be better over the 1200m and this looks a very winnable race for him.
Roughie: Belesron is a lightly raced galloper who looks to have plenty of ability. His run on a slow track last start wasn’t great but there were enough excuses to put him into my tips this weekend. He will need some luck from the wide barrier but if he does then he should go close against this field.

Race Four (14:22) : Eurozone Hcp 1200m

Back Me: Spirit Of Heaven is a lightly raced filly who has shown plenty of ability in her five career starts. She is first up after a long break i expect her to have improved from last preparation which will make her very hard to beat on Saturday at a good each way price in betting.
Big Danger: Jessy Belle was disappointing at Scone last start but that was in a much tougher class and she was having her first start going clockwise so there were enough excuses to give her another chance on Saturday. Before that run she was very good at Caulfield behind a talented galloper Griante. She loves the Valley and must be included.
Roughie: The Secret was sent out as the odds on favourite at Geelong last start and punters were spot on as she won dominantly. She looks a type who will continue to improve from every run and this race is very winnable for her so the big odds on offer looks great value and i think she will start much shorter come race time so it may pay to back her early.

Race Five (14:57) : Dominant Cafetto Hcp 2040m

Back Me: Suspended Gem was unlucky not to have won at Sandown last start in my opinion and despite that being a mid week meeting this race doesn’t look to be any tougher. He drops 3.5kg in weight from that weight which is a bonus and he looks really well placed in this race. He has drawn a decent barrier to get a good run and the double figure price on offer looks great value and i would think he will shorten quite a lot in betting.
Big Danger: Whisper Downs hasn’t won in a long time but he finds a winnable race on Saturday and his last two starts against better opposition have shown a lot of merit. He likes the distance and he should be included at odds in multiples and quaddies.
Roughie: Diamonds At Noon was a surprise winner of the Swan Hill Cup last start where he hit the line strongly to get up on the line. This looks a similar class race and he will be better with the extra distance so i will be adding him into my tips at a price here in what looks a weak race overall.

Race Six (15:32) : Dominant Travis Harrison Cup 1600m

Back Me: Brambles showed he was a quality galloper two years ago where he contested some very good races. He returned two starts ago with a decent run at Caulfield where he ran on well in the closing stage and then he backed that up with another good run at Flemington where he carried a big weight and wasn’t beaten far on the line by quality horses. He gets a claim here which puts him into the weights well and the distance should suit him much better on Saturday and he can be backed each way with confidence in a very winnable race.
Big Danger: It would be hard to find a more consistent galloper than The Cleaner who always buts in a big run. He is an out and out leader which will suit at Moonee Valley and his run at Flemington last start in a good race showed he would be winning soon and he looks the horse our on top selection will have to run down to win.
Roughie: Backbone returns from a long break so he will be better for the run but on class he must be included in this race. His last start he won a good race at Caulfield and before that he raced well in a much better race than this. He will jump at big odds and looks a good each way bet.

Race Seven (16:07) : Sportingbet Best Tote Plus Hcp 1200m

Back Me: Le Bonsir loves Moonee Valley and he returns to the track for the first time since running a close second in the Abell Stakes. He has drawn a perfect barrier and he gets a 3kg claim in the race which puts him well into the weights. He has raced very well in his last two starts and i think he is ready to win on Saturday.
Big Danger: Anlon i thought would be very hard to beat at Swan Hill last start but he was very disappointing. His run before that in the Wangoom was very good and if he can return to that form i think he will be hard to beat on Saturday so he has to be included despite the wide barrier.
Roughie: Awesome Bro has done a lot wrong in his career which is why his winning strike rate is quite poor although he has a ton of ability and at the price i think he is worth including in this race. He will go back in the run and in what looks to be a race with good speed he will be hitting the line well and will be hard to hold out.

Race Eight (16:42) : Advanced Mailing Solutions-90 1600m

Back Me: Atlantis Dream has only put in the one bad run in her career and that was on a heavy track so a line can go through it. She was super impressive winning at Sandown last start and she will be better for the run which will make her very hard to beat on Saturday where she meets quite a weak Saturday class field.
Big Danger: Vihanna Victory lost any chance she had after jumping last start in a race i thought she had a good chance of winning. That race is similar in quality to this one on Saturday so i am happy to have her on top again. She has a good record at the distance and a good record at the track and can be backed each way at the odds.
Roughie: Notice Received has a ton of ability but she never shows it on raceday. If she can put it all together on Saturday she can definitely win this race but she hasn’t shown that in awhile but i am still happy to include her in my tips at the big price.
