The Sydney three year olds have dominated the Melbourne Spring in recent years and Sportsbet.com.au punters believe that will continue this Saturday at Caulfield in the Thousand Guineas (1600m).
Global Glamour, the all the way winner of the Flight Stakes (1600m) last Saturday at Randwick, has been smashed in betting to take out the Group l. Since the final field/barrier draw was released on Tuesday, the Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott trained filly has been $5.50 into $4.00.
Favourite for the race is another Sydney filly Foxplay, and she does boast two wins over Global Glamour. She has been easy though, out to $3.20 after opening $2.60. Harlow Gold($13-$10), Missrock ($15-$11) and Samara Dancer ($21-$19) have both been firmers at odds.
