The five trainers at the centre of Victoria’s cobalt saga have been ordered to relinquish their prize money percentages from Group and Listed races until their charges are heard.
Peter Moody, Danny O’Brien, Mark Kavanagh and father-and-son training partners Lee and Shannon Hope can continue training until their hearings.
The five last week faced Racing Victoria stewards to show cause why their licences should not be suspended until their charges were heard.
They all face charges relating to cobalt after horses in their care tested above the 200 micrograms per litre in urine threshold in samples taken last year.
Only the Hopes have a date set to have their charges heard before the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
The inquiry will begin on October 15, two days before the Caulfield Cup.
