Champion Winx will have up to 10 rivals when she defends the George Main Stakes at Randwick, her first Group One race of the spring.
Among the 11 nominations for Saturday’s 1600m-race are stablemate Foxplay and the Gerald Ryan-trained Red Excitement, the two horses she had to run down in the Warwick Stakes and Chelmsford Stakes respectively.
The Chris Waller-trained Winx will be attempting to extend her winning streak to 20 after her two thrilling wins this campaign.
