Tommy Berry is free to ride Prompt Response in the Tattersall’s Tiara after being granted a stay of proceedings pending an appeal into a careless riding suspension.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained filly is in a group on the second line of betting with Luxbet at $7 for Saturday’s final Group One race of the Australian season at Doomben.
Newcastle mare In Her Time heads the market at $3.30 following her second to Godolphin colt Impending in the Stradbroke Handicap last Saturday week.
Josh Parr will be back aboard the Ben Smith-trained In Her Time after missing the Stradbroke when the mare received 53.5kg, below his riding weight.
Under the weight-for-age conditions of the race, In Her Time carries 57kg.
The Bjorn Baker-trained Bonny O’Reilly and Egyptian Symbol and the Kurt Goldman-trained Eckstein are the others at $7 ahead of Wednesday’s declaration of the final field and barriers.
The were 28 nominations taken for the 1350m-race which has a field limit of 16.
