RACE 1. $175,000 CRYSTAL SLIPPER 2YO FILLIES. 1200-METRES.

BEST ROUGHIE: 10 MILLY WILL PARTY.

SUGGESTED BET: MALAHIDE each-way.

MALAHIDE Shamus Award filly had two soft trials April/May, made debut on the Gold Coast when heavily backed and stunning winner in fast time. Rates very highly. BARE NAKED LADY has a win and a third from two starts, won two trials leading into debut 3rd Muswellbrook before good win Scone when sat off the pace and very strong late. PENNINO won 3 on end before failed in G2 and again Listed race last two. Worth thought on best form.

RACE 2. LISTED $100,000 2YO STAKES. 1350-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 4 GRANNY RED SHOES; 6 Light Up The Room; 1 Soaring Heart; 2 Spending My Time.

BEST ROUGHIE: 5 VICTORY TOAST.

SUGGESTED BET: Anchor GRANNY RED SHOES in exotic bets.

GRANNY RED SHOES resumed with maiden win Sunshine Coast, before 2nd Listed Carter Stakes then won Listed Oxlade Stakes, Sunshine Coast. Hard to beat. LIGHT UP THE ROOM trialled three times won them all, two in January one in May, made debut with strong maiden win Gold Coast. Chance. SOARING HEART Ipswich maiden win was followed 2nd Sunshine Coast and again 2nd same venue. Worth lot of thought.

RACE 3. $100,000 BATTLE OF THE BUSH FINAL. 1200-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 3 MASON’S CHANCE; 12 Timetus; 17 Bush Caviar; 4 Stellar Knight.

BEST ROUGHIE: 5 JUST CALL ME LOUIE.

SUGGESTED BET: Box Trifecta: 3 – 4 – 5 – 12 – 17.

MASON’S CHANCE has good form in his area winning 8 and placed 15 of 27. Last start easy winner Barcaldine. Hard to line up the form but he’s very consistent. TIMETUS good winner Charleville before 4th Rockhampton last time. Solid form that, chance here. BUSH CAVIAR won Aramac before 4th Barcaldine las start behind Mason’s Chance. Respect. Very tough and open race with all the different bush form. Keep an eye on betting moves which are sure to be significant.

RACE 4. $70,000 CLASS 6 PLATE. 1350-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 4 NO ANNAMOSSITY; 13 Inspired Estelle; 12 Foxy Housewife; 14 Our Beebee.

BEST ROUGHIE: 10 MR MARKOU.

SUGGESTED BET: Quinella: 4 – 13.

NO ANNAMOSSITY trialled after good prep, resumed Ipswich 2nd in a Class 6 before impressive Doomben win over Cadogan. Go close again. INSPIRED ESTELLE looks well placed, good winner on heavy ground Doomben before last time drew wide raced wide and never likely, forgive. Looks tough to beat from good gate. FOXY HOUSEWIFE won two on end Ipswich and Gold Coast before last start brave 2nd Listed Gai Waterhouse Classic behind Magic Alibi when just caught late. Go close.

RACE 5. $70,000 3YO PLATE. 1350-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 3 TROMMELSCHLAGEN; 1 The Bostonian; 2 Shogun Sun; 11 Prom Queen.

BEST ROUGHIE: 8 SACRED REBEL.

TROMMELSCHLAGEN is resuming from short let-up, Doomben winner two runs back on soft ground was very good, won an Eagle Farm trial last week. Go close. THE BOSTONIAN former Kiwi won 4 of 7, made Australian debut winning the Listed Daybreak Lover on the Sunshine Coast in heavy ground. Hard to beat again. SHOGUN SUN followed very good 5th in G3 Fred Best with 5th Listed Daybreak Lover last time. Can win here with any luck at all.

RACE 6. GROUP 3 $200,000 TATTERSALL’S CUP. 2200-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 2 TRADESMAN: 5 Coldstone; 8 Divine Unicorn; 4 Anton En Avant.

BEST ROUGHIE: 3 JUMBO PRINCE.

SUGGESTED BET: TRADESMAN to win.

TRADESMAN was huge last week winning the Ipswich Cup after racing wide throughout. Previous 2nd Egg Tart in O’Shea Stakes also top class. Looks the winner on the back-up. COLDSTONE ran 3rd in the G3 Lord Mayor’s Cup, Doomben, before 4th in the Listed Wayne Wilson. In good form, suited here, can win. DIVINE UNICORN won a Class 6 at the Gold Coast first-up before 3rd Doomben then 3rd in Listed Wayne Wilson. Chance here on form.

RACE 7. LISTED $100,000 G. H. MUMM STAKES. 1615-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 10 JAMAICAN RAIN; 2 Ulmann; 3 Grande Rosso; 7 Noire.

BEST ROUGHIE: 1 HOPFGARTEN.

SUGGESTED BET: JAMAICAN RAIN to win.

JAMAICAN RAIN exciting mare won 5 of 10, 5th G3 Maybe Mahal last spring, spell, resumed with 6-length win Cranbourne then dominant winner MV. Go close. ULMANN eye-catching run last time when flashed home late 2nd Hopfgarten, Listed Wayne Wilson, Doomben when started fav. Can win. GRANDE ROSSO 2nd in Listed Luskin Star, Scone was OK first-up before close 6th Sir Bacchus, Rosehill last time. Worth lot of thought now fitter.

RACE 8. GROUP 1 $500,000 TATTERSALL’S CLUB TIARA. 1350-METRES.

BEST ROUGHIE: 1 INVINCIBELLA.

CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES has had a great prep, won G3 Gold Coast Guineas first-up, 3rd Impending G1 then 3rd G1 Stradbroke behind Santa Ana Lane. Hot form, good draw. PROMPT RESPONSE strong winner G2 Emancipation, Rosehill, 2nd G1 Queen Of The Turf, just missed first-up in Brisbane 2nd G2 Dane Ripper behind Invincibella. Good gate, makes own luck, huge chance. SUPER CASH big run when 4th G1 Goodwood in SA before another great effort 2nd in the G1 Stradbroke behind Santa Ana Lane. Hard to beat despite wide gate.

RACE 9. GROUP 3 $175,000 W. J. HEALY STAKES. 1200-METRES.

SELECTIONS: 9 TUMBLER; 5 Spright; 11 Malvern Estate; 1 Calanda.

BEST ROUGHIE: 6 GRACIDA.

TUMBLER looks well placed here, has won 7 of 12, 2nd Sunshine Coast first-up in feature race before charging home last week 6th Magic Alibi, Ipswich Listed Gai Waterhouse Classic. Run very well here on the back-up. SPRIGHT ran on well when 6th Pedrena, G3 Glenlogan before 6th G2 Dane Ripper last time. One of the many chances. MALVERN ESTATE has 6 wins and 4 placings from just 11 starts, resuming here, not raced since 2nd in the Goldmarket on the Gold Coast in March. Very smart, can win if ready.
