A field of 13 will contest the Group One Lightning Stakes with favourite Flying Artie to jump from barrier four in the race down the Flemington straight.
Terravista, beaten in the last stride by Chautauqua a year ago, has barrier nine on Saturday with Corey Brown to ride.
Flying Artie is one of three runners trying to become the first three-year-old in more than a decade to win the weight-for-age sprint along with Star Turn and Missrock.

News:
Three-year-olds Star Turn and Flying Artie head the early betting on the Group One Lightning Stakes at Flemington.
Star Turn holds favouritism at $4.60 with Flying Artie the second pick at $4.80.
The two are racing for the first time since meeting in the Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington last spring won by Flying Artie with Star Turn third.
Lightly raced four-year-old Spieth, narrowly defeated by Malaguerra in the Darley Classic at Flemington at his first Group One attempt, is on the next line of betting at $5.50.
Terravista, beaten in the final stride by Chautauqua last year, is an $11 chance as is The Quarterback, last year’s Newmarket Handicap winner, who has won two of his past three starts up the Flemington straight.
