The Gerald Ryan-trained Menari won’t feature in any of the feature Autumn races after suffering a fetlock injury.
Ryan informed New South Wales stewards that Menari would not race during the Sydney Autumn Carnival due to not responding well from an injury to his near-side fetlock on February 27.
The three-year-old colt hasn’t been seen since finishing third behind stablemate Trapeze Artist in the Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill last September.
Menari was on the third line of betting at $11 for the TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on April 3.
