Nash Rawiller has farewelled Sydney for the time being on a high note with victory aboard Sweet Fire at Randwick.
A suspension means Rawiller will return to Hong Kong earlier than planned to prepare for the new season which begins in September.
The three-time Sydney premiership winner has spent the past season in Hong Kong and has a contract for another 12 months.
Rawiller has spent the past few weeks keeping his eye in, riding mostly for Chris Waller who trains Sweet Fire.
“Sydney is home but I’m looking forward to the new season in Hong Kong,” Rawiller said.
“It was nice to come back and nice to go out a winner.”
Rawiller said if the right horses came along he would be interested in returning to Australia during the spring carnival.
