New rider Glen Boss can help cement Caulfield Cup favouritism for Southern Speed ahead of Saturday’s Turnbull Stakes, with the mare opening at $7.50 in the Turnbull with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au to win the Group 1.
Boss will get his first feel of Southern Speed in the star-studded Group 1, which is a traditional springboard to the Cups.
While strong support has come for Southern Speed in the Caulfield Cup, coming in from $17 to $11 to be outright favourite, it looks to have a challenge on its hands at the Turnbull, with Green Moon starting at $5.00.
