Hawkesbury trained filly Sheer Style is favourite to add another Magic Millions win to her record at Wyong on Thursday.

Sheer Style heads the betting with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au on $2.20 in the 2YO event. After placings at Rosehill and Randwick, she broke through to win a Magic Millions “Clockwise Classic” at Sportsbet-Ballarat last start.

In a small but competitive field Unencumbered ($4.00) is second pick, with Geromayo ($5.00) and Spirit Of Joy ($5.50) also right in contention.

“There was a lot to like about Sheer Style’s win, she showed good gate speed, led and won in good fashion. If she wins again I expect she will firm for the big race at the Gold Coast,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

Sheer Style is $9.00 for next month’s Magic Millions Classic, behind favourite Oakleigh Girl, who firmed to $4.50 after her win at Doomben last Saturday.

In the 3YO MM race at Wyong, super smart filly Sweet Idea is the raging $1.40 favourite with the only real threats looking to be Dream Forward and Weinholt, priced at $5.00 and $6.00 respectively. Sweet Idea is also the $4.50 favourite for January’s showdown on the Gold Coast.
