Frolic beat She Will Reign in Saturday’s Reisling Stakes in wet conditions at Randwick with the runner-up easing from $2.80 to $3.60 with Sportsbet.com.au for the $3.5-million Golden Slipper at Rosehill in two weeks.
Magic Millions Classic winner Houtzen raced in Brisbane where she carried 63kg in a two-year-old handicap at Eagle Farm and won easily to firm from $8 to $4.60.
Last week’s Blue Diamond Stakes placegetters Catchy and Pariah are on the third line at $11 along with Frolic.
Menari, who finished fifth in the Todman Stakes won by Gunnison at Randwick, eased from $8 to $15 with the winner at $26.
Chauffeur, a Gerald Ryan-trained stablemate to Menari and second to Houtzen in the Magic Millions, is on the fourth line of betting at $15 ahead of his next start in Sunday’s Black Opal Stakes for which he is the $5.50 equal favourite with Godolphin colt Trekking.
