Race 1 – 3:40pm – IVE Print Plate (1000m)

All seven horses engaged in the first at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday are on debut.

I am happy to stay out of this one from a betting perspective.

Race 2 – 4:15pm – Ladbroke It! Handicap (1300m)

There looks to be several winning chances in Race 2, including Tempest Charm.

Tempest Charm has had two starts back this time, finishing second at Ballarat when resuming and filling the minors at Pakenham last time out.

Fitter third-up and under Jamie Kah, this looks a great opportunity to strike.

Race 3 – 4:50pm – Tobin Brothers Celebrating Lives Plate (1400m)

There also looks to be several winning chances engaged in Race 3, including Moktaffy.

Moktaffy hasn’t been seen at the races since June, and he will be making his Australian debut in this contest, but he had returned some quality performances during his seven trips to the races and has placed on three occasions.

Craig Williams takes the ride from a good draw, and I am confident that the horse can hit the ground running.

Race 4 – 5:25pm – Tile Importer Handicap (1000m)

Along The River will take winning form into the fourth at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday and looks well placed to make it two in a row.

The Written Tycoon returned a couple of nice performances during his debut prep, and he returned in the best way possible at Kilmore late last month, breaking his maiden.

This is harder, but the horse harbours plenty of upside.

Race 5 – 6:00pm – Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Handicap (2400m)

Saving will take beating in Race 5 at Ladbrokes Park this week.

Saving has been a model of consistency recently, winning twice and placing another two times in her last four trips to the races.

His last start effort, a dominant six-lengths triumph at The Valley was clearly the best of his career so far, and anything close to that would be enough to see him winning this as well.

Race 6 – 6:30pm – Ladbrokes Blended Bets Handicap (1300m)

Americain Angel is ready to win at Ladbrokes Park this week.

The daughter of Americain ended her three-year-old season a credible seventh in the Group 1 Australasian Oaks, and she has so-far finished second in races at Bendigo and Sale since resuming this time.

Johnny Allen rides this week and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why the horse won’t be in the finish.

Race 7 – 7:00pm – Ladbrokes Switch Handicap (1800m)

Designs can win the penultimate race at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

The Anthony & Sam Freedman-trained galloper finished second, beaten a head at Kilmore when resuming, and she raced home well to fill the minors here last time out.

I think that the small rise in trip will be extremely beneficial, and I am confident that the addition of Jamie Kah can result in a return to winning form.

Race 8 – 7:30pm – Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Handicap (1400m)

This isn’t the easiest way to end the day from a betting perspective and there is a case to be made for several gallopers.

With that in mind, I am keen to try and unearth a bit of value, and I think that there looks to be plenty around a horse like Adandiman ($13 at publish).

Adandiman’s condition gave out a little when he was swamped first-up at Bendigo, but he led the whole way here second-up.

He can go straight to the lead again this week and will give them something to chase.
